h4nd
Jeeezuz @locost_bryan or whoever the ISP nerds are lately. Where's the secret list of ports that One/Voda/iHug etc block these days (which includes port 1194 if our openVPN is playing nice). Conclusion. My openVPN is no longer playing nice. Fuck those guys

Fuck those guys Our security guru says "If it's bad, they block, depends more on the Source and destination rather than the port, and most major RSP are now part of MFN (malware free networks) so share blocking info. If someone running OpenVPN to a home environment and it won't work, or trying to use OpenVPN out of an environment... if there's an OpenVPN Access Server they are running they can't connect to it's much more likely they need to review Port Forwarding at their perimeter device."

Yeah I bounced it to a random port. Once you got NERD-LEVEL networking, all it takes is ONE little hole :-D
RUNAMUCK
Not automotive, But logfire/solid fuel burner question. Do you reckon running my log fire on fast fuel (ultra dry untreated pine) and leaving the door cracked a bee's dick so it burns mega hot and fast will damage my flue? I'm pretty much done with the fire for the season. But I'd like to do a real hot burn to clean any deposits from the flue. It often gets turned way down (somebody might have removed the travel stop to completely shut the air off) before bed. So I wanna burn it clean before I give it its final clean for the summer. I've also got a wee pile of scraggly shit left over which I'd rather burn now than try to store for the summer. Would a sustained really hot fast burn run the risk of damaging the flue, or nah? With the door cracked, it really roars. I'm also going to replace all the fire bricks, and the door seal too. Next year will be a fresh start. ThePog
Just buy a flexi flue brush, you can do it from the burner, not on the roof.
440bbm
unless its old as fuck and already had 8 of its 9 lives ( almost cracked and have holes aready ) it will prob be fine. but 100% better off to just clean it proper anyway.
ThePog
Might not be the thread for it but can someone tell me if the squabs on Recaro Fishnets individually replaceable? A cheap set came up with ripped bits, but then another single came up with the other bits ripped. If I can swap them it might be worth it...? They come off so you can replace them with a separate squab from a different seat, you can also buy bolsters

I bought a large round brush - I suspect a big toilet brush - and wired it to the end of a coil of 1/2in ID alkathene pipe. Worked well. In conjunction with a big old shop vac. Roof was steep as fuck. Built 1890 to withstand snow....

We cut the weld on one side, bolted it to the engine with some steel rules between the welded area and the block and re-welded and it’s noice and straight

They come with "gritty" feeling grease, Let it bed in for a few thousand revolutions Coming back to this, I can mostly confirm this was correct. After a little driving the new bearing is significantly quieter now. Given a bit more use I think it'll go silent. 2
