cletus
If you remove or shorten the roll center spacers that might fix it? That will lower the wheel in relation to the tie rod end

Bling
Is it the RCA causing this clash? I had to have mine machined down as the LCA was hitting my brake rotor (couldn't even bolt the LCA to the strut, I was spewing). So the LCA got a massage and the reduced in size RCA helped too. I can't remember how close the rack was as rotor was my biggest hurdle at the time. Didn't have to shorten it by much and headaches were gone. 440bbm
That's what I said. I thought I've seen this problem before but it's been a while. It's pushing the tie rod too low towards the lower edge of rim. Remove the spacer and it will come up and effectively towards the larger circumference giving more space.

Not having an RCA may be an issue, dunno - no easy answers with this

Not sure how bad the bumpsteer gets on those cars. Would be something cert man decides on at time of road test.
440bbm
I made big ones for my ones since I could get away with it due to 18s. But the smaller wheels wouldn't fit. As above, smaller wheels don't need them unless it's not on its guts with no bumps but yes will depend on bump steer geo
oldrx
Will leave out the rca's and see how it turns out. Custom cross member and raise the inner lca pivot maybe if it comes to that

I may have overstated the wheels coolness, but they're special to me - 14x6.5/7.5 Techno Phantoms, bought them of a GC on OS a few years ago as it happens. 3
oldrx7
Can never have enough rx build threads on here, so please post it up when you get the chance. Wheels sounds awesome, and I don't think I've ever seen them on a rx2 before, well certainly not a NZ rx2. Very kewl!

Nominal
Mechanical fuel pump Q The old and new (Carter 6588). The new pump is quite a bit smaller, hopefully will pump enough? I don't know anything definite about the engine, a 347 or 357 stroker windsor I think. Plumbing is tight down there so I'd like to run the same style with the bottom plumbing. Any thoughts @anglia4? Edit: The old one looks more like this Delphi MF0065, can get one from RockAuto but shipping is a burn. 40 gph though.
anglia4
Sorry mate! I've never played with fuel pumps. The pump on my 302 was on it when I got it and has never let me down (until tomorrow of course now that I have said that).
