h4nd Posted January 4 Posted January 4 Here's a good description (in the old 'introducing Chrome" style comic) on why Chrome is turning to shit https://contrachrome.com/ Google make bajillions selling ads. In short, google made new policies for chrome that make the adblockers stop working. 1 Quote

RUNAMUCK Posted January 6 Posted January 6 People say the guy behind it is just as bad as Google, but brave is primo for youtube. Zero ads, and you can surf on another window while playing (adfree) music. 1 Quote

The problem is that they are not synchronised and uneven loading means they are racking quite badly. The synchronised versions are $$$. So I want to solve it with smarts rather than money. They do not need to lift perfectly synchronised, just good enough. My current ideas are; - 4x mercury switches that check which corner is high/low and start or stop that motor (or the other motors) till back level. The problem is getting the wiring up into the lifted bit. It can be done but isnt tidy. - laser or ultrasonic rangefinders (mega cheap on AliX) running through an arduino. This is a pretty technical solution tho. Any other suggestions or comments? Dads car hoist (2 post with a motor and screw on each post) solves this problem with a small toothed belt and rotary encoders. While it is lifting the car it will stop whichever post is getting ahead for a moment to let the other catch up. Quote

yoeddynz Posted Sunday at 08:19 Posted Sunday at 08:19 What's the deal with getting spare key remote fobs that have a chip in them. Can I get one from the same make/model car at a wreckers and get it re-programmed at a key place? Or do I have to buy a new one and if so is there a recommendation on cheaper places to get them? tortron Posted Sunday at 22:05 Posted Sunday at 22:05 Punishing dishwasher repair chat Robinhood RHDW4345W All of a sudden now when turning on just makes 1 beep and then a light cycles through the 4 programs No mention of this in the manual or anywhere I can see. No buttons do anything, holding each one down for 5 seconds does nothing either Lights stop cycling if I open the door/trigger the door latch. Assume it's probably a control board issue? Quote
440bbm Posted Sunday at 22:16 Posted Sunday at 22:16 silly things first, youve checked it has water pressure to it? drain isnt blocked and hasnt reset itself from the last cycle? tried the apple restart procedure already i assume LOL Quote
tortron Posted Sunday at 22:32 Posted Sunday at 22:32 Drain clean, full pressure to the machine and inlet filter clean. It finished the last cycle normally, leaving it on for a while it doesn't attempt to do anything, and the restart/change a program mid way procedure doesn't do anything. Have turned on, off, off at the wall, massaged all the buttons incase one is sticky, and back on Quote

I run the Baldur Control Systems DID1, it works for solenoid injectors, he has been working on Piezo injector driver for sometime now and it is apparently close to market. So depends on what engine you want to run? 1 Quote

Early base model hilux seem to have a basic loom and minimal security other than immobilizer key so could be doable with factory loom with some dicking round Quote
