sheepers Posted October 17, 2012 Share Posted October 17, 2012 no, nothing was cut. i unstiched the inner and the outter around the guard arch then bent the "lip" out to be parallel to the skin. then gently stretch the outer skin out to the required shape. then once the outer is about right stretch the inner out until its tight up against the outer again. then tack the two together and finally fold the lip back up under the the inner and weld it in place. there is plenty more to it than that but thats the basic process.
