Not really 'built' but it worked well.

I needed to find an exhaust leak, so I taped the vacuum cleaner hose onto the exhaust tip and put it into reverse flow so it would blow into the exhaust.

Then sprayed soapy water onto exhaust and found a couple of places.

Looks stupid but it works.

I saw a video on Instagram of a guy who forgot to put his sump plug washer on using his shop vac to pull an vacuum in his crank case through the oil filler while he pulled his sump plug out and put the washer on. It could have just been instagram reel magic, but it seemed pretty legit

I think there is a thing you can buy? Never used one but as @datlow mentioned, use them to reseal tap threads on fuel tanks when they still have hundreds of litres still in them.

my mind was blown when i learnt about them , called bullshit for so long, had to admit defeat.

Works on same principle as carby, have workshop air hooked up and it pulls a vacuum

Yeah I have one too

I'm a camp stove barry

Wasn't sure where to put this. No actual building, but a sweet combo for my Jetboil if I need more than 100g of gas on a trip and a 700ml titanium billy for rehydrating, silicone lid is from Macpac, and the cup is from Kmart... Cozy is from a Jetboil micromo.

Little bro bought himself an Alfa and has a fancy Toyota sewing machine, and wanted to try pressing a logo into some vinyl so that he can do his interior eventually. Other than the fact he told me after I'd printed it that he was pressing from the front rather than the back, our first test worked out quite well.

Do you lightly heat the vinyl before pressing? Looks great.
