  1. Made few of these storage/tool boxes to hopefully make moving easier and to sort out what I’ve got in the garage still need to paint them with some free paint I got from the refuse station
  2. My daughter made one with a little help cutting stuff and won first prize last weekend at the local A&P show
  3. Today’s project was to make a headphone and iPad storage and charging centre for a local school
  4. Ready for a bit of oil now, I’m happy with the fact I only used dowels and 4 screws to put it together and the use of limited assortment of hand tools all finished
  5. This weekend’s project is to make a coffee/side table from a bit of a mixture of native woods Rimu door steps I had 2 to cut down for the legs, I still need to cut to length Rimu door frames for the sides of the table, powerpole cross beam for the outer wood on the top, and I don’t know what the dark wood is if you have an idea please let me know
  6. Found this old Rimu folding chair that had a broken piece of wood on the seat base, I had to take the ugly plywood off to fix it so I replaced it with some Rimu slats thanks for looking
  7. Today’s project was to pull apart some colour changing led lamps I got from aliexpress, I then made a new base and top out of an old power pole cross beam and repurposing a Barker’s jar out of the pantry
  8. Made a little coffee table tray to put stuff in. I think the wood is Rimu and flattened some old copper pipe to cover the screws
  9. Saturday’s project was to make a table top for this old table base I picked up from the dump and fixed up a while back and has just been sitting in the corner of the shed, this was made by cutting down old 2x4 from the old renovated Te Aroha West Hall. Just about everything I have been making is from the old native timber from the hall, and I hope you guys are enjoying these little projects as I do them as much as I am. Thanks for looking.
