Good fun, but do your homework about what it'll take to re-register. They'll be looking inside the chassis for rust, etc. I got quoted silly monies to fix up a 550cc to required spec.

What was the process to get it looking that clean?

Yeah it looks great. I'd have to ask him, the invoice said "Clean up underbody, remove rust scale, clean and treat with rust converter and apply rubberised undercoating."  Only $85 in materials.
