SOHC
The compression isn't bad, put some oil in the cylinders and re try and see how much it comes up
Raizer
Didn't seem to raise it much, only did the first 2 cylinders as I'd already refitted the intake etc. http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/toyota/auction-1243777243.htm Is what I've been looking at, seems to have gone down another $500 tonight. Raizer
Yeah I'm a bit hesitant about that too, I like diesels, I don't like paying RUCs and extra rego. 2.4 petrol doesn't seem common/existent in super custom trim though.

Raizer
Got chatting with an old Barry mechanic this morning about the Delica. "Will be cracked rings on number 2 letting oil up, used to see it in Galants all the time. Put some new plugs in it, keep it on the low level on the dip stick and load the bitch up with Morays" I changed back to my locked up distributor earlier, has actually made a very noticeable improvement, if you ignore all the pinking that dizzy brings. igor
You'd be an Imperial Wizard of the highest order if you got it to run sweet with six non matching carbs.
Seedy Al
FYI Pulled head off this 1kz in two point five hours, and that wasn't me being super fast or anything. Cracked head and fucked radiator Side note: undo the cam Pulley bolt before taking the cam belt off, so you can remove the alloy timing belt rear cover plate thing. Belt up guy came in today and did a lap belt for $100 fitted, so I guess a 3 point might be a bit more.
