Popular Post nvmyvl Posted September 4, 2020 Popular Post Posted September 4, 2020 Made an upgraded bait launcher / spud gun. Should work well Twin 100mm stainless tanks, each able to be isolated separately. 50mm stainless irrigation valve, modified to be released via push button trigger. Its a tad overkill haha. 26 1 Quote
Popular Post Muncie Posted September 6, 2020 Popular Post Posted September 6, 2020 So rebuilt myself a 300nm torque wrench today essentially was put into work and found to be uneconomic to repair, the good thing is when you get enough broken ones you can raid parts to make a good one. Made it work than decided to try calibrate off my aviation spec deflection beam warren&brown Worked a bloody treat! Got it bang on. Excuse the shit on floor ive been active in shed recently. 14 Quote

They dont need backing off and unless they have been used as a breaker bar seldom go out of adjustment. Been calibrating wrenches on and off for years and they certainly are my pick. Edit* i should of said in my hoard of tools i dont use enough. 2 1 Quote
Popular Post 63Ragtop Posted September 9, 2020 Popular Post Posted September 9, 2020 Cut up my first failed version of the switch plate today and turned it into a chuck key holder. Ye olde drill press had this weird half brass screw already, so I made use of it. 13 Quote
63Ragtop Posted September 9, 2020 Posted September 9, 2020 No problem. I nicked it off someone else on the internet. 3 Quote

Popular Post 63Ragtop Posted September 14, 2020 Popular Post Posted September 14, 2020 Finished this bench to sit over the ugly whiteware and provide some extra bench space. I started it last lockdown, so I'm glad to finish it! Except for the screws to hold the ply on its all recycled materials. Sanded the old ply down and coated in boiled linseed oil. Silky smooth. And black zinc it for the frame. Turned out better than I expected, the plan was to mount a bench grinder to it but the wife thinks it's nice enough to be extra outdoor furniture! 19 Quote

Popular Post MightyJoe Posted September 16, 2020 Popular Post Posted September 16, 2020 One classic lucas workshop light bought at a swap meet for $20. Blown to hell, I think someone put 240v in it or something, everything was melted. Some ali express goodness and a very expensive bulb. Seriously. The bulb was more than the lamp lol. Done. And it works. 15 Quote

Popular Post Kimjon Posted September 20, 2020 Popular Post Posted September 20, 2020 Kind of did a build thread here... But long story short: Made this, which holds these: The end. 17 Quote
h4nd Posted September 22, 2020 Author Posted September 22, 2020 I needed accurate aerials for a thing. A mate laser cut blank PCB, and I peeled up the intervening strips with tweezers, and a heat gun to soften the adhesive. #RF (I needed them fast, PCB house turn-around was too slow). 3 Quote
