kpr Posted September 16, 2013 Share Posted September 16, 2013 Vs the old big cam setup. its easier to drive. had to be pretty aggressive, to keep it in the power band with that setup. Stock cams it was a bit easier to get going, but wouldn't rev out as good. with this setup the extra revs and wider powerband certainly helped, i pretty much left it in 2nd gear all day. was trying 3rd for awhile, but wasn't working too well for me. 2nd gear and max rpm seemed to be key. leaving in 2nd also stopped me from smashing the selectors to bits again!
