Carsnz123
Add Hydrazine that will make it go well.

It was a common thing to do in the 40s 50s, it wouldn't be ideal but if you used the factory single plane manifold it might work well, I copied an original.

Valiant
I made a faux sawn off shotgun for a friends Krav Maga class this weekend. It's a piece of framing timber and some electrical conduit, I'm pleased with how it turned out.

Popular Post Lord Gruntfuttock
Dishwasher packed up again yesterday. Same fault, different drawer. Home sick so had a look. Yep, same heater element relay had burnt off same pin. Must be a common fault given both mine have done it... De-soldered and pulled relay, couldn't be arsed getting another relay from eBay so thought I'd try repairing it... Drilled out board where the short pin was to make room for my bodge fix... And soldered copper wire to very short stub on relay, fed thru hole and re-soldered other pins to board... Laid wire along track and soldered at couple of points... Seems to have worked, just done a cycle ok. Might buy me a few more months...
Popular Post Muncie
I Scrapheap specced this testbed for chain testing out of cast offs at work to save me carting things to a different branch. Its mint! Have done some destruction testing using it its not broken a sweat at all. Converted hydraulic pump to 230v from 12 volt, has a 50ton loadcell in it for load testing though ive dialed it back to 30t for simplicity sake 50t test components are fucking huge. Thats a 50t shackle hanging off to the right.
peteretep
Mean. You are just testing break load? so no computer attached for seeing how it broke? My parents are buying a load tester at the moment, I think its 5 ton tension and compression. Has computer attached for displaying failure modes etc which should be pretty cool. Muncie
@peteretepJust saves peak load for destruction testing i basically only do destructive testing with it as an indication only excercise. It is calibrated for load testing though. Have a 200t bed for anything else that needs to be destructed which does printouts graphs and data, has thick steel guards over it to capture any shrapnel its a cringeworthy excercise watching the graph on that puppy! You know whats coming but you still jump.
63Ragtop
Had a play with cad router the other night at work, we use it for cutting up signage, stickers, etc... Was trying to get it to mill tow different depths, but it think I got the layers backwards so it cut over everything the same.
