SOHC Posted September 14, 2019 Posted September 14, 2019 weld a big washer that fits over it on then a big nut and fill the center with weld and as above the heat will sort it out, the washer allows you to be heavy handed with the MIG 4 Quote

Bling Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 I've always welded nuts on, perfect hole in the middle to fill with weld. Could potentially cut some flats on that one though and put the next sized down socket on it. If needed before you get the welder. 1 Quote
Steelies Posted September 23, 2019 Posted September 23, 2019 1995 Suzuki super carry van. Gluey windscreen seal, or poppy outy windscreen seal? Planning work on one but unsure on seal type. I presume it's oldschool style non glue but would rather not encounter surprise if I can help it. Go! Quote

Tried that before ending up with the welder - using the angle grinder and file, the nut would always end up rounding off again. However, success was had on Sunday arvo 4 Quote
