Truenotch
So close to hitting the wall! Was the sound more mellow than it used to be? It's hard to tell from videos. Gutted about the strut and tower!

kpr
muffler pretty much sounds the same as the old one. sounds a bit poo's exhaust wise tbh. need better reso/s up front. will rebuild the center part with better reso's sometime. make it from mild steel, rather than stainless
MACKAZ
Pity you cant find a swaybar with a threaded end and use that to adjust your caster. Either that or move the swaybay front mounts back and machine existing bar? With your skills its possible.....dunno whether the spring steel would thread though? Or different swaybar and adjustable caster rods?
kpr
ive got some plates on the chassis that move the sway bar mounts forward 20mm or so. and a little bit of adjustment on the mounts. still doesn't have that much caster though. camber plates are getting a bit sloppy. so got some more on the way, might mount new ones at 45 deg, to do caster as well. kpr
^ yeh nar, messes with geometry. I'd make custom lower arms and caster arm setup, retain current struts. if was going to go that far. found out cause of front end destruction. water made its way past the seals in top of struts. then down into the bottom of shock body. running bilstiens so are inverted type. so when hitting a decent bump, it was like the shocks were bottoming out, or hitting a steel on steel bumpstop. shit broke since water does not compress so well. i drilled a 2mm hole in bottom of shock case to stop it happening again. also welded up the strut tower and bunt off all the nice new paint! fake edit: left shock, white bit was full of water.
