Total bodyshop is clearing some at very steep discounts. Italco brand
NickJ
Non branded and likely came from toolshed or similar, I find it doesn't get the velocity at the tip to atomise nicely and when I ramped the pressure up to compensate it really didn't like it.
Willdat?
Polishing pads and general touch up supplies, where does the hive mind get them from? The more YouTube I watch, the more I think I can't make these deep scratches worse... Tune in next year for when I have to spray the boring daily in bed liner... Bling
Typically an automotive paint shop for me. I find my local one is cheaper than SCA / Repco for pretty much everything. Mine is Spraystore, but if you have an automotive paint shop in town, which I imagine you do, i'd go hit them up when you're mobile again and see what they got.
87creepin
Who do you guys use for 3M abrasives? I’ve got a feeling autolink supply them. I’m over using the cheap stuff edit: seen smits group do them, but I’m after 125mm discs not 150mm.
rusty360
Yeah 150mm is the most common size in panel shop world, 125mm is more diy etc. 150mm discs normally cheaper for that reason to.
Early jap nuter
Wyatt tools do all the Rupes stuff and somtimes have good deals on sanding discs
Bling
I get all my 125 sanding discs from Spaystore (Smits). They might just not list them online. I never had a problem sourcing them and I needed a fair few for the project. Often they just had to get them from behind the counter rather than the limited options on the store shelves. cletus
Faded/dull clear coat It has not bubbled or lifted yet but it's not far off Is there any magic jizz that restores this back to concours perfection? Or does a half decent job of slowing the inevitable march of time and deterioration? Or should I spend my time on more productive things
sheepers
You could try giving it a cut. If you're only doing the roof it probably won't take toooooo long. Pacer products super cut followed by ultra cut then a decent swirl remover and you'll be golden
mjrstar
Is suspect it could be too far gone to polish, I'd probably nail it with some 1200 on an orbital and blow some fresh clear over the top. Not exactly magic jizz though.
ThePog
I realised I have run out of Brunox convertor/primer, I had a ring around and it seems the only spray on equivalent is crc, does anyone rate this or should I hold out for the brunox? ThePog
Brush on would be ok for a lot of what I am doing... I do know someone coming to chch in the next couple of days, what part of town are you? Happy to flick some cash your way.
Bling
Flick me a PM, will dig it out. I'm based in Prebbleton so south area. Not worried about coin, better it gets used than goes to waste here.

I would wait, brunox is much better than crc. It sounds like you need it asap and can’t wait for a courier?

The paint shop will probably be open on Wednesday, and I have plenty to go on with in the meantime..
