igor
If they were a factory option it might have factory mounting holes? According to the brochure my Wolseley should but I haven't found them yet.

Our Caddy had 2 front lap belts, I fitted 3 in the rear and just carried on. Chrysler , same deal until I updated the cert for the brake mods etc and got the belts certed. Both cars had certs for lap belts in the front. no-one questioned the back belts. Use the proper sized plates and 1 bolt to 1 plate as per the law.
Sambo
Are there now any legal, off the shelf adjustable suspension packages available for AE86s? I bought BC's for mine just before the rules changed a few years back and they aren't certed.
Leon
Nope. Those presented for inspection all failed welding test. 1

Bling
Selling the BC's or wanting to try use part of them? You might be able to get them chopped and modified to fit stock struts? Not sure if possible or not as the kits you buy now look to have pretty thick strut tubes that get welded to stock parts.

cletus
Only the ones that come pre welded with a spindle attached are a problem. The ones that come un assembled and you weld them as per the requirements are fine

Yowzer
Do they might together the pre welded ones? Or are they welded to cast?
Yowzer
Speaking of, would these be uncertable because of the extra brace welded in, even though the spindle is still attached to the factory strut?
cletus
The pre welded ones have the cast spindle part welded to the strut tube

kpr
when welding to the strut tube, does the weld have to be a certain distance away from the cast part? I created a sweet weak point, when i done some rangi mods on my paddock car. it wasn't welded to the cast part. (is now..)
