The small wheels are a bit punishing on gravel. I was usually the last one in any time we stopped. But I did this ride both ways on Ronnie the Honda Dio.  

If it's a choice between a twist and go, or not going, just do it!!

Basically yeh 50cc scoot is only option, it seems reliable enough / have never tested it long distance ... 

Will discuss the idea again with the wife and see if I can make it along.

Can I hook a ride from Auckland to Whakatane with someone? I'll be there for a work trip that ends on the Thursday before East Cape.... Just in time to jump in a car and cruise to J5's  .

The 125t now has less holes in it's pistons and CDI ignition!  

12v life is lush. 

As long as we're not going anywhere near Murupara, I'm in!
