Haven't looked into accom options at all. This looks like a solid mission! Quote

johnnyfive Posted January 24 Author Posted January 24 Remember that time in 2022 when the East Cape tried to drown us, then wreck itself well and proper in 2023. Its doing the same stuff. Here's the Hicks bay store/playground where we got pies and did twist and go drag races Slip over the road and into the back of the Hicks Bay Motel. The entrance to Bills TeAraroa Holiday Park (hard left over bridge, note horse still horsing around far right, the east cape spirit will not be dampened) Aerial shot of road coming over hill from Hicks bay, Holiday park in the trees towards ocean. A bridge south of TeAraroa Wharf at Tologa Bay getting pounded Slips down the hill from Hicks Bay lodge area into Onepoto bay (where many stayed during Year 1&2 (17'&18') But yeah, I was intending to do try do an East Cape ride this year, if its still there? 5 5 Quote

Wow, we were just there a few weeks back! Stopped at that public toilets at Hicks Bay, such a sweet spot/playground, clearly well maintained by the locals, so gutting. Quote
