Popular Post sheepers Posted November 21, 2017 Author Popular Post Posted November 21, 2017 things has been a happinin. not as fast as id like but thats the nature of builders and trades being dicks. stormwater retention tank is the last bit of major stuff to be done and its almost complete. 2017-11-21_06-09-21 by sheepers, on Flickr 2017-11-21_06-09-32 by sheepers, on Flickr the only other thing thats happened is that we've been painting. all the internal walls and ceilings are done so if the sparky ever fucking turned up we could have power and lights. ive been told the plumber is going to be here on Thursday to install the toilet, vanity and plumb the hot water cylinder but ill believe it when i bloody see it. 2017-11-21_06-10-11 by sheepers, on Flickr 2017-11-21_06-09-02 by sheepers, on Flickr 2017-11-21_06-08-52 by sheepers, on Flickr 2017-11-21_06-08-38 by sheepers, on Flickr 14 1 Quote
Popular Post sheepers Posted November 23, 2017 Author Popular Post Posted November 23, 2017 some fuck around with the retention tank and the council now having a spazz because the spouting joins the neighbors house. just like it was before. and just like its shown on the plans that the council used to determine what size retention tank we had to use............ so we cant fill in the trenches and finish up the front yard dirt bit until the council fuck around more. on the plus side. 2017-11-22_04-44-32 by sheepers, on Flickr the builder had to cut a fucking massive hole in the wall to put timber in to support the vanity unit that is wall mounted. the same vanity unit that has been on site for months and months. the same vanity unit that has been on the schematic drawing that we gave the builder about 4 months ago. that vanity unit. so they had to cut a fucking big hole in the wall to put in timber to mount the vanity unit on. so now i have to repaint that wall once the plasterer has attempted to fix this fuckup. on the plus side there is now water. there is no power and that will be end of next week. fuck ill be glad when this is over. 2017-11-23_05-57-33 by sheepers, on Flickr 2017-11-23_06-13-29 by sheepers, on Flickr 2017-11-23_06-13-45 by sheepers, on Flickr 12 1 Quote

Interesting, we usually scope this as builders work for services (by the builder). Not in 10 years have I ever seen a plumber put in his own nogs. May be different for residential, however? 1 Quote

Esprit Posted November 28, 2017 Posted November 28, 2017 Looks epic! Our place is definitely going to be less "designer" especially in the bathroom..... Given we're introducing kids into the mix, everything has to pass the practicality/durability test. Also, I'm colourblind and Claudia is stylistically conservative, means our place will be boring in comparison. Loving how yours is turning out though! Quote

Anything for taps ect is up to the plumbers. House is looking awesome though. You’ll be stoked to see them leave ha. Quote
