i think you might be smoking crack. all the roof on my house/shed it steel. the neighbours house is concrete tile and there is a ridge cap the size of a mountain range between the two which you can see in the photo up there.

 

but thats not important right now.

what is important is that the guys are polishing and varnishing the timber floor this week. it'll be done by Friday. it seems very hard to take a picture of it but ill try again tomorrow.

Depends on the flooring/wood type. And if you plan on sanding it first etc. 

But you can urethane an un-flat floor. Sanding/some sort of prep is preferred.
