AllTorque
Should have a paper manual at work for the old ones, but I'm not there this week. Soz.
SOHC
I had a spare set of rims with snow tires and put them on and went for a 50 KM drive in the went, they have 0 grip, it was very very scary, I will never ever do that twice.

Willdat?
New second hand 5 speed gearbox in little bro's 180SX won't select 1st or 2nd - all other gears are fine. Both shifters he has are different and even 1/2" extension bar manually wiggling down the top of the box can't seem to select them. Anything obvious we're missing? The state of the 'only used for 1 day bro' clutch suggests that seller may have been a little optimistic.
kdotlowe
Can anyone recommend me a place to grab some flat bar steel? Preferably closish to city centre Auckland (pushing my luck maybe?). First time attempting some minor fab work so I have no idea about good suppliers etc etc. Ta!

Raizer
Diesel oil question, I used to just run Valvoline diesel extra in the Gloria, but I want to run something a bit better in the 1KZ, CaM reckoned to grab some GTX Diesel and he's never steered me wrong BUT I can get a 20l of Fuchs Titan truck plus for a damn good price. Any of you guys ran it/have an opinion on oil for a TD? Â
Yowzer
I've dumped that stuff in KZs in the past since it's on tap at work, for the most part I think we put 5w30 synthetic in them though
smokin'joe
i used to run Fuchs in my 5L-E , but i don't reckon the money saved out weigh other oils. for some reason, first oil change on freshly imported Isuzu mid-sized commercials, Fuchs smoked like they were running on coal. Raizer
Good to know, I always ran Fuchs power plus in my Subaru back in the day, but that was a lot different to a diesel. Savings wise it isn't a huge difference ($70 for 10l GTX and about $115 for the 20l Fuchs, a 10l is about $100 hence the 20l lol) Â Edit: The more I read, the more I'm leaning towards Delo 400. tortron
am i correct in assuming that the door negative input on a car alarm simply gets tacked onto the terminal of my door switch, and that its supposed to see 12v all the time (dome lamp earths through switch)
