Sick bro. I love VGs, and you've got a nice example there. I have seen a Hemi with 4.1 falcon EFI modified to fit. Maybe another Mopar for me after Ive done the Buick in 125 years time.....

Thanks guys.

Yeah Kk, not at the moment I just want to drive it for a while. I have kept the 245 head for later though.

Efi hemi would be nice, happy with this at the moment. 265 rat rod?

Glad to hear things are finally going well for you Pete.

Need to get that engine run in so you can stretch it's legs, and make it angry! (Insert emoticon doing a skid)

Shit I bet this will go rather well with a compression ratio like that and tuned to run dedicated gas.

Pistons will still be that shiny in another 200tho clicks too

It's amazing how clean LPG motors stay inside. I really hope it's a lot of years before I get to find out how clean this one is inside.

it went well before, I think I'll book it at the LPG shop for a tune in a week or two and see how it goes after that.

I hope my W50 continues to live, I've become quite attached to it.

Yes and no.

It has a Mopar orange ignition box, a new 1.4 ohm coil, and a .6 ohm ballast.

It worked it out as about the same as OE.

I got a belt off the coil this afternoon and it seemed solid.

Great to see this up and running again! How's it drive in comparason to previously?

I always thought the old setup was smooth and had power to burn after you converted to lpg..

to be honest it feels the same, although it's been a year since I drove it last so I've totally forgotten how it was.

It's smoother up over 3000rpm and seems to rev freer above that point also.

would be good to see this out and about again

not that i have actually seen it in its flesh but ya know

with your ignition side of things

in the past i have found many of the old distributors have timing skatter (not consistence) or may not have the right advance curve to see the full engines power. plus are not normally a really good strong spark.

in the past have fitted ICE igintion systems which is an Australian company to a 265 valiant with much success

would recommend on a performance 265 not cheap too but good

Nice work, how was Gary - he spent a bit've time on the tank for me and got some pretty impressive numbers!

Due to running in top gear with the 9" mine was managing to overload the dyno, could only do 10 sec pulls from memory.

Didn't know he played with LPG stuff there, Suppose there's no reason he wouldn't though.

Did you yarn to him about the mopar under cover he owns...

G'day @CUL8R, Yeah Garry is a GC he doesn't specalize in LPG tuning but he seems to like a challenge so took it on.

Yeah we had quite a long chat about his Challenger I strongly encouraged him to get it going.
