  1. I almost had one when i cancelled my account til they billed me $300.
  2. In that case, after seeing what it looks like on, I may be very interested for one in Feb as I'll most likely be driving though Palmy...Will watch this space.
  3. Planning on making a few lips from the mold or wanting it to be one off? Looks choice and I can imagine a few others wanting in on it. Concept looks good although the tints might get you a bit of hassling.
  4. Yeah those cotter pins are a pain in the arse. If you bugger the thread, make sure you file the new ones just enough so they fit nice and snug and go in as far as possible. I snapped so many before a friend told me they need to be filed to fit.
  5. 99% of cops are awesome and I've only ever dealt with these type. The other 1% aren't. All of them are just people though. So just like at my job you get some sour cunts and some good cunts. I hope you left the ring on?
  6. Hahahhaa that's the best reason I've heard. Re the oil cooler-keep current bumper and you can fit a 200 row oil cooler with twelve hoses etc etc. Also keep rear bumper and have 20 exhausts. Win?
  7. Yeah oil cooler. Thinking of putting one on my car but not sure if I'm keeping it much longer. Kits are a few hundred but look choice. Park bench bumpers still look better than no bumpers too.
  8. Bumpers are so extreme, almost there Handy if there's no park benches around? Also, need more
  9. That was on trademe recently was it not? So rank.
  10. This. Love the rising sun roof. Wanting to get similar on side rear window of my wagon along with oldschool Toyota logo. eg this
  11. Found a pic of my bro's one I was telling you about
  12. My Minor had a handful of ear plugs that I claimed from the Wellington Library when it was under construction. Only in there for passengers since I just turned the stereo up til I couldn't hear road noise. ( No wonder I had to crank start it nearly every time).
  13. You'd be surprised how brash these drop kicks can be. Have heard of people breaking in to the same home twice so they can nick their goods then steal the replacements when insurance pays out. I'd keep a very close eye on any other cars you guys have. What was the rego? I drive all over town so will keep an eye out for it in my travels.
  14. Betchya it's the same cunts that did it too. Pics of van?
  15. Was good to get everything else checked over though. Just need a full tank of fuel and some fun times driving now.
  16. So I got the new SU12 coil in, patched up some fucking shoddy wiring and found a there were three wires in total going to the + terminal of the coil and only one that actually had power to it. The charge light (has never come on since I've owned it) started working again momentarily but stopped as soon as the ignition was put back in the barrel but meh. Car is running absolutely brilliantly now and doesn't miss or stutter or anything! So bloody stoked. Cheers Pete for your help and you were absolutely right. Thanks also to everyone else who contributed. Some pics of wiring for LOLZ. As you can see, nearly every wire has been spliced. Good stuff. Badly spliced wire Switch that did absolutely nothing. Spaghetti with splices, loose wires that lead nowhere and general poor quality. Going to have to tidy this shit up one day..... Oh and video of it running mint if you feel the need to view. Coil is fitted in properly not just hanging in like in the vid.
  17. Yeah sweet as. I couldn't find any info on that other coil so wasn't sure if it was ballast or non. Will let you know how it goes tomorrow, wiring is something I actually can do haha.
  18. Big fan of cream/beige/off white wheels, would look choice on those rims.
  19. Just found an online parts book for Bosch and found this Corolla 80 - 88 4K 4 1.3L SU12R - This is the one I had on (but doesn't seem to have a resistor anywhere) and am having the troubles. Also I don't have the terminal on my starter to benefit from it so have got an SU12 which I was gonna put in tomorrow, then I read on and found this- Corolla (KE70) 81 - 87 4KC 4 1.3L 0 221 119 030- So now I'm wondering if I'm better to try find that coil or just run the SU12? So lost....
  20. Huge thanks to Pete (Valiant) for spending his Friday night going over my car and ruling out various issues. Have ruled out plugs, leads, carby, blown head gasket and have come to the conclusion it must be with the way the coil has been wired in. Am going to put in a new non ballast coil and wire it in properly and will post the results. Is running heaps better, timing is set properly and valve clearances are all good now.
  21. Hot shit, may be getting somewhere with this. A bit disappointed that my auto sparky and mechanic didn't pick up on this though... Is it possible to just chuck in a coil that has a ballast or best to go with coil same as current and have external ballast?
