EURON8
Now measure how much wider the wheel is compared to the guard from above. See how much inner clearance there is, get offset changed to suit and get the remainder of the extra outer width cut out? / cut car to suit. bubblegoose
i think rear will be doable with some super dope flares, but maybe bring front in 1" and still use super dope flares lubs you long time if you do
rot808
i think a rotary would really help your chances of pulling these wheels off/just put tyres on, bolt them on, drive
EvoBilly
thats damn sick bro i don't care what anyone says just roll with it get some tyres on those puppys. think i might have to invest in some rims like that for myself
karmagedon
Also, how are those flares on that boso Bd made?? Preform or just bent plastic? and regarding wheel weights, im pretty sure these are lighter than the 17's on my car at the moment.
Simon
possibly because they have no tyres on them? Get one of those big blue plastic drums and cut it up and bend it to shape. There is a how to thread somewhere on the internet that tells you how to make them. I don't know where I saw it. Try looking for boso. Guest
No turning back pls Time to get cutting for fucks sakesthis is one of the biggest threads in the newschool section and not once has it delivered. pot. kettle. black? He delivered me some sweet rims once?
lowlancer
All good man. I'm not sure it would even look "good" with those rims on there as they are, given what you'd have to do to make them fit. Maybe on a bigger, older car. It comes down to whether you want to/are able to do something likely no one else has done before to this model. I suggest you likely don't, but that's your decision to make. No one really gives a fuck if you decide to bail on this idea. Just get them cut down to suit and claim that was the plan all along Good luck
Vintage Grumble
^ What he said, cut to suit = perfect fitment?
kyteler
^^ That's all well and good doing so. But... did you not order these rims from the states, did they not come in custom sizing? If they only came in HUGELY WIDE then yuh, fair enough. Seems odd to me though.
SHGWAG
Did they ever do a widebody kit for an NA? Maybe get one if you can, then put your flares on the widebody kit & then the wheels might just fit. mjrstar
Odd as it may sound this kind of makes me want to buy an mx5 and actually pull off a slightly less ambitions ride height / wheel combo. Maybe a 14 or 15x8 at 0 offset would work nicely without flares. Such as this sort of thing (since i already have a set of these wheels) Goes off to trawl trawl trademe.....
