Just checked OS for the first time in ages now, too late and have plans for this morning. I want to get to this or burgerfuel at some stage and I need to grab the EzUp off you too @73crownwagon

Off to scrap tomorrow. I’ll cut it off and stash it under the house or something. Flick me a pic of how much you want me to leave on

Want me to save that rear cut from my parts car now?

Shit even I made it -
Ooh that explains the dents and filler on those rear arches ! We were wondering about it.
-
I can neither confirm nor deny any involvement or pressure associated to this purchase*

We did the compression check on this car when the old boy owned it. Very tidy and the motor had fantastic compression! We were quite surprised
-
Yeah, I found the current owner whilst browsing Facebook a while back and have had a few yarns. He got it off the guy I sold it too. Doing my time again, Would not bother with the injection. Not enough room unless I had the budget for more intense fab work, but then I would likely chose a better motor altogether.

I knew Richie had been round smashing stuff but had not realised the extent in which you were demoing! Nice work! Ours is Rimu too, Any Rimu that was removed during our reno I've kept Any Rimu that has remained but has needed a nail or two in it, Fuck me, Even the Paslode more max pen kicks back in places.

Just make sure the mounts are everything you are using are up to spec and not made by Old Barry Industries for yesteryear. You'll need driveshaft hoop(s) and shit too. And CDLs post re price seems right

That's funny, I used to work for a tool wholesaler and we had a huge range of flex hones in stock at all times. Most retailers wouldn't have had them in stock but could probably have got one for Saturday morning. Maybe they stopped bringing them in. Good to see the engine going back together!! Excite!! How about that visor huh? Flash guy -
Also, don't put the life of your engine in the hands of those shitty little guages on regs, we have had a few that have read 20-30psi out so now we set with a decent external gauge and usually double check with the tuners gauge at dyno

Random slightly cool stuff you built but not worth its own thread, thread

Inlaws had seen a fence style they liked and wanted at their new house, they asked and I said easy Problem: need to roll a 50mm ID 180° bend in 50x10 flat bar, Solution: raid scrap steel pile, turn some dies and pins in the lathe and boom.- 1289 replies

another Certifier i was speaking to recently was saying that another reason the pre welded ones are no good is the junk reproduction spindle they have is junk. Plus it's welded wrong anyway.

Woah paint!! Maybe I'll bring beers/ciders one night and we can stand around saying "mate" and "yeah nah" and other blokey things -
Thats odd, the guy selling the jaws is who i bought my complete setup off and at the time there was a another option from another brand also.
-
I just bought a pair of Eastwood ones off trademe. pretty good so far. gave them a hammering on some 1.2mm and they worked sweet. I might upgrade the screws that hold the jaws in as they are a little small and let it slip a touch but all in all im happy with them.

Tonight we used fire and heartier-than-last-night hammer hits and smashed clutch plates off input shafts, successful if i do say so myself
