slacker.cam
I can't wait to see what this does when you head back to the dyno! What's your goto tool for cutting sheet ali?
sheepers
im using a jig saw with a medium TPI blade. one that designed for steel. seems to work fine. the box section that im using is 3mm wall and the plate is 2mm wall.
e30-323ti
Catch tank looks good! Did you use -10 or -12 and connect to the stock valve cover vents? Is a real tidy setup! ps. Where are you taking the IACV inlet too? Around to the inlet pre-turbo? I was contemplating just putting a little K&N filter onto the IACV. sheepers
thanks man! the two fittings for the oil catch can are matched to the pipes that come off the cam covers so one is -8 and the other is -6. the idle control valve just has a little filter on the end of the pipe down beside the bellhousing starter motor area. so pretty much the same as you say. Stu
Awesome work on the numbers - saw you guys heading out. Did B or Glenn twiddle the dials? Are there lots of un-intended 11's on the roads around here now?

Stu
Haha man I'd be the same - I'd want to drive the pants of it rather than stop anywhere, will be other times. B sent me the numbers from the GTZ too. Duels on the way home? theres a single legger in my undies i can tell you that. Glenn did the tune with Brendon helping. i stood around and said stupid things - as is my habit. man does this thing lay 11's now. even when you trying not to. Truenotch
That T1R business sounds pretty strange... How many K's have you done on them? It's common for tyre shops to warn you that the car will feel funny for the first 300km or so until the mould release wears off. That's all I can think of. The difference in profile can't have made that much difference.
fuel
I found the same with the T1R's in 205/50 R15 I bought for the Eterna those years ago. I think the issue is that in smaller sizes, the T1R's just don't cope with the weight of the car.
