Raizer Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 Yeah increase in capacity and probably over 20% increase in hp Quote
mark105 Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 if converting to auto is it required that you have the lock out gates the factory auto shifter has? eh cant slam it in to park from drive with out pushing the shifter button in. Quote
kyteler Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 Hi, failed another warrent in the weekend.dude reckons i need a cert for my 4g63 engine conversion in an ex lancer that was originally a 1600.is this true? Not tryna be a no brainer but i'm pretty much a cunt who knows nothing. Different makes therefore would need different mounts and shit Hush yourself if you don't know what you're talking about. Any increase in capacity requires a certification and any increase in power over 15% (I think? Perhaps 20%) So the warrant man is entirely correct. Quote
kyteler Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 Indeed you are correct xsspeed; Taken from the LVVTA Cert. Threshold Manual. Quote
xsspeed Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 yeah, I will need a cert for my corolla as replacing the 2e with blacktop 4age (dont start on e - a series change) will be a 100%+ power increase, just using stock BT motor Quote
rwdlancer Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 bugger. i thought it would be algud seen as bolts in.On my last warrent the guy didnt no what kind of engine it was and didnt pick up on it..myte havto put old engine back in for wof. ok heres another question.
