sheepers Posted October 5, 2024 Posted October 5, 2024 good afternoon, i have decided my life is to pedestrian and i need to spend more time in jail. and as such i have decided id like to start taking meth. mixed with water. and injected into the back of the supercharger. questions, there is a hole in the back of the supercharger that is at a 45 degree angle to the inlet pipe and the back of the rotor inlets. is this a good place to shoot the watermeth into? what do i use for an injector? i assume i can control it with the Link. ill make a tank that will probably have a pump in it. how do you control pressure to the injector? do you need to becasue it would be the same pressure no mater what's happening (i think? i dunno) in the engine. what else do i need to know? why can you grow tons and tons of potatoes in a field for years and years without the level of the field dropping as you take things away from it? tell me now. 1 1 5 Quote

Plants take their carbon from the air. Starch is long carbon chains. So potato fritters are basically air biscuits 5 3 Quote

punkoutnz Posted October 5, 2024 Posted October 5, 2024 Have recently installed watermeth into my Golf R and it's made a fair difference, we were messing around and the amount of extra timing we could pump in was mental. For the sake of all the effort of putting stuff together I'd just buy an AEM or snow performance kit. The one I went with was AEM V3, installation was pretty easy and it just has a nice basic foolproof controller that starts injecting once it reaches a certain amount of boost. I am finding it a right pain in the bum trying to source the stuff at the moment though as STA is out of stock and there doesn't appear to be anyone else selling it. The only other option I've found is buying a 200L drum of pure meth and having a life time supply. 2 Quote
Early jap nuter Posted October 5, 2024 Posted October 5, 2024 There’s a pre mix on trade me called boost juice, it’s says free shipping from oz but I haven’t trued it.plus one for the aem v3 Quote
Yowzer Posted October 5, 2024 Posted October 5, 2024 How many potatoes do you need to brew 200L of meth? Quote
RUNAMUCK Posted October 5, 2024 Posted October 5, 2024 I did a bunch of reading on the subject some time ago. The "cooling mist" pumps seemed to be the best. I belive they sell kits too? I also used to have a bookmark saved with a formula for how much water to add for x amount of HP. (I could probably find the page again with some good googling) His videos are really hard to watch, but David Vizard reckoned you can reduce the fuel buy the same volume as the amount of water you add, as the volume adds to the thermal expansion post combustion. fletch Posted October 5, 2024 Posted October 5, 2024 What link have you got? Got any spare outputs? If not, you could probably get a little CAN expander with some inputs and outputs (Maybe a PDM). Use it to monitor meth tank level, turn the pump on, drive the injector/solenoid. I would imagine you get a water/meth specific pump that's got its own built in reg. From the internet - Water/methanol must be injected above 60 psi to properly atomize into the engine. Pressures lower than that will reduce the cooling effects, since the larger droplets exiting the low-pressure pump reduce total surface area, and will cause little to no gain in performance. You could make a table that injects vs throttle position and manifold pressure. Then do all that tricky stuff to pull fuel out and change timing when it's active etc Quote
RXFORD Posted October 5, 2024 Posted October 5, 2024 Have a chat with Mark Haynes at Revolution Engine Services. Hes big into water meth. Quote
Muncie Posted October 5, 2024 Posted October 5, 2024 If you need plans on how to turn a beer keg in into a still to produce 80-97% ethanol hit me up..... cops will raid your shed though as your neighbourswill think its a meth lab. But you will have a way of turning sugar and water into horsepower. Water/meth Can be a pain in ass but does work well. Quote
sheepers Posted October 6, 2024 Author Posted October 6, 2024 hey @cletus is a water meth tank considered a fuel tank? like what the rules with locating a tank? can it go in the engine bay? Quote
tortron Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 An ice tank can you of course wouldn't add any methanol to it 2 Quote

Would depend on the mixture ratio as to whether its flammable I would assume. Fuel/surge tanks can go in engine bay provided they are behind the wheel/suspension centre line and meet the usual fuel system requirements. Quote

If it has methanol in it it is considered a fuel system so has to comply with all of the fuel system requirements, which none of the typical water methanol injection systems that you can purchase comply with. However if you put a sticker on the tank saying for water only then it's just a water tank and there is no rules If you wanted to be 100% legit then you could build a system as per the fuel chapter in the CCM and it would pass cert 1 1 Quote

Nek minnit windscreen washer systems have to comply with efi fuel system requirements because rainx and other wiper fluids have meth in them lol. 1 5 Quote

Doug Hill Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 There is some conjecture regarding pre blower jizzing of meth stripping PTFE coatings. There is also conjecture regarding Eaton and Aisin blowers having PTFE or some proprietary coatings, so who knows. Make sure it can't siphon the system, you will either end up with a blower full of spoof, or an empty feed line and more knocks than Mohammad Ali on first boost Quote
