But yeah one thing I always seem to struggle with is getting the tube nice and straight if its in a roll. Always looks out of straight and a little wobbly and kinky. Nice work man. As always haha Stick one end under your work bench leg and roll it out against the ground. Straight pipes erry time 1 Quote

I did all of mine from aluminium tube, which comes in straight 5m lengths Quote
66gt Posted April 5, 2018 Posted April 5, 2018 Buy a tube straightener if you want it perfect. Plenty on Ebay and TM Quote
Mof Posted May 5, 2018 Posted May 5, 2018 If you make the arms on the height sensors a bit longer they will have more travel. Awesome work though, this thing kicks ass 1 Quote
Nominal Posted May 5, 2018 Posted May 5, 2018 Amazing work as usual and a good catch on the airbag sensors. One of the plastic arms on mine broke early on, I think because of too much drop in the front suspension when it was on a 2-post lift with everything hanging. IIRC I just lengthened the link piece a bit to handle it. 1 Quote
oftensideways Posted May 6, 2018 Posted May 6, 2018 damn! this entire build is just so bloody good! love your work mate. 2 Quote
piazzanoob Posted May 6, 2018 Posted May 6, 2018 I personally think the chassis wont look good in black well just standard gloss anyway with all the great work done with the chassis mods and design i think it needs a colour that will show off that. thats a work of art by itself perhaps like a metal flake black or gun metal grey. have you thought of getting it dipped and powdercoated? i would also be inclined to make the exhaust a different colour to the chassis also just to show the workmanship of it keep up the good work! 1 Quote
mjrstar Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 Those pbr calipers- if they are the steel versions you can treat yourself to ford territory units which are aluminum and take a 328mm disc. If you are already running the territory ones then carry on fine sir! 2 Quote
maxted Posted August 6, 2018 Posted August 6, 2018 Just caught up on your thread, impressive build so cool! 1 Quote

Yeah I thought about that, but my parents have a set on one of their cars that were the same brand and they were dipped to the left. Could only find that one place in America that sold them, so maybe thought they do rhd ones. 11 hours ago, KKtrips said: Also is Danny or Marty doing your cert? Danny, he called in last week and was very happy with everything so far Quote
piazzanoob Posted October 28, 2018 Posted October 28, 2018 fuck man that wheel and colour combo should look good! now stop teasing us and show a pic of them on the car. i would also of thought a brown similar to the shade and gloss that you picked would've also of looked great in my opinion. keep the progress up! 1 Quote
cletus Posted January 27, 2019 Posted January 27, 2019 not far to go now!! that bent rod was pretty impressive. Quote
Mof Posted January 27, 2019 Posted January 27, 2019 Looking so good man! Can't wait for driving/switch flipping vid Btw Gas struts go the other way around (rod downward). Keeps the fluid against the seal so they don't dry out and leak. Quote
fletch Posted January 27, 2019 Posted January 27, 2019 Are you just replacing the rod and piston? I have a 4.5 crank, rods, and pistons you can have. I believe it's a bolt in into the 4.1 block. 1 Quote
