Rookie Posted December 20, 2012 Share Posted December 20, 2012 Hey Guys, Seeings we have been running our mouths about this I though we should get some input/discussion going. Basically the Idea is to have a mint weekend in Taupo, eating BBQ, Drinking, Swimming etc etc I shot a few deer this year and as such I have a heap of venison sausages (ask Markku), and I would like to share the love. So the general premise is that you go to your local butcher and grab some of their boutique sausages, come stay for the weekend because we all like good food, and fun times. Pretty sure we will have at least a boat of some description, and there are heaps of parks and stuff down by the lake to chill at. So who's keen, and what dates suit? Early Jan = New Years Mid Jan = Wellington Anniversary which has an OS wedding that takes out a number of people who would come along to this End Jan = Wagnats Early Feb = Wagnats Mid Feb = possible date?? End Feb = lots of birthdays in Wellington Early March is pretty open AFAIK Mid March - Mid April = Beach Hop, Leadfoot, OS Nats, Black Sabbath gig and one other thing which escapes me right now..
