KKtrips
FYI Kumeu is the 14th-16th Jan BDO is the 21st Jan - heaps of OS goats should be in town this weekend and would be ideal for you IMO... (Citroen Nats is on in Napier this weekend too but doubt thats your demographic TBH) Wagnats is 28-31st Jan I think 4 n Rota Nats in AK is the same weekend as Wagnats.. Will add more as I can think of them

Toucan
Choice! Having attended both I much preferred cornwall park, sweet having cars spread out all over the show and trees for shade and stuff. Is it possible to reserve part of the carpark for the morning?
Snoozin
Personally Kumeu weekend works for me since i'm in town anyway... But that's purely a selfish angle. Means I get to experience 2 sides of car culture in one rad weekend.
AE25
sweet.. 22nd jan looks promising yeah bellagio's was a bit of a scorcher Cornwall, its a public park. first in first served i believe? there's a member on here who knows the land owner but nothing came of trying to get access to a paddock from memory. we could always start earlier and overrun the place heh. can't see the BDO boes getting there on time tho definately bring bbq's haha. fail on wood burning bbq ryan, i drove through that area recently and yeah theres plenty of carparks.. very little shade tho. will investigate more.. snoozin, im of the same opinion. but i'll give the oldschool boes one this time and see how it works out. (this could change if they don't give a fack).
Testament
Long bay maybe? can park on the grass between trees etc. there although maybe not super friendly for low cars. I think you can book sections there - not sure if/what it might cost though.
Corbie
If someone has van/trailer.. can steal/borrow a couple of bbqs from work for the day. wont fit in the back of the torrie
xsspeed
Cornwall, its a public park. first in first served i believe? there's a member on here who knows the land owner but Me, Paddock is a no go They have a first in first served policy (even applies to weddings) However...I can see about reserving one of the carparks, problem is they (the admin people) are very non-commital and don't like to do anything that will piss any of the public off (ie rednecks that get pissed off cos 'their' carpark is closed for some old jap crap etc etc) If guys are keen enough, be there before the crowds is safest answer
AE25
there ya go! tho I do see a problem with numbers this time. ie in the past there have been around 30-40 cars attending which we've managed to fit in. the last new year meet at bellagio's I counted 75+. we'd have to spread across both the BBQ and the other side of round about which is poos. i hate walking. OSM Garage
Is the weekend of the 8th too early? Would absolutely love to make it next year, but fukn weddings and honeymoons are planned. GAY!
AE25
yeah usually get complaints that people still on holiday. but would make a great end of holiday for those going back to work on the 10th like myself.
biff
damn heaps keen if not weekend of 22nd im getting hitched and making it to both might be a problem lol
EURON8
Im thinking that whatever date you make it i wont be able to attend. Im outta the country 19th for 8 days Camping early jan at some points. WIll just cross me fingers. Kumeu weekend might work, although those out of towners who camp at the show dont often leave the security of there sweet spots to venture to jap meet. ryanfels
what about parking up at hampton downs assuming there is no huge event on?
kyteler
I'm almost hoping it is the 22nd simply because if I do make it up to Dorkland for the BDO I can come and scope out peoples whips regardless. Rather attend this that the 4 & Rotary gubbins that's usually on at about the same time as the BDO.

cruiser
what about parking up at hampton downs assuming there is no huge event on? Good idea, plenty of room and out away from the dickheads that come just cause its up the road and if 70+ cars turn up cool plenty of room,
