zep
Colour code them! Get a bit of Euro flavour happening. What do you mean by this? Yellow?
Steelies
i vote gunmetal too. IMO dark centre + polished rim seems to look nice with dark window surrounds and chrome bumpers
Snoozin
Colour code them! Get a bit of Euro flavour happening. What do you mean by this? Yellow? Shit yeah I mean yellow. Will find some super sweet pics.
Jase
i had some powder coated gunmetal by apl in te rapa, they run a heap of graphite through in the paint to give it a glisten in the light. they're a aluminum joinery outfit but other coaters could do similar. LS 2 THE DEEE
Hey Leon let me know when you decide what colour I'm gonna do my centres soon so can do at same time. I have some gunmetal basecoat an clear so materials are free if you go that way Also should have this Saturday off so will suss your yellow Chur Levi
zep
At the moment I'm leaning towards gun metal unless Richie pulls through with some awesome yellow on yellow pictures Cheers Levi, sounds good!
Beaver
yellow/colour cocded wont work unless you repaint the car imo. I like the fact that the body/p[aint is slightly rugged and I think it would look silly if you tried to match the wheels to it. would love to be proven wrong however. Snoozin
Yeah I understood it's being painted, which is what my suggestion was based on.
Beaver
ah in that case colour matched +
LS 2 THE DEEE
We could just do 2 of each an decide which colour suits best
Gaz
I did my centers gunmetal from gold and regreted it as it made the polished lip look shiter, I think maybe the gunmetal I used was a bit dark as the wheels got lost from a distance in shit light/Wellington. How do you feel about cream? Gaz
zep
No to cream. I like the look of them in the pictures (the colour that Brad had painted them) I posted earlier. The other colour I was thinking is that teal colour. This colour
Truenotch
who cares . Just bolt the wheels on and do skids!
Jase
no to teal but that finish in red/mauve would be a mean offset to yellow
kyteler
Hah, red and yellow. Good one Noddy/Ronald/Yuck! Graphite. Do not colour code. The only way that could work is with some large Turbo2 or Compomotive TH's.
