Slam should be easy - blocks in the rear and cuttie front (double a arm like) - funny thou coz the mudflaps are already very close to the ground.

Has all the old ownership papers etc aswell as a owners manual and workshop manual - which will be handy as ive never worked on anything like this yet.

Do we know if this is German built or british???

Def kep the roofrack and get a small surfboard i think go all 70's on it.

Ive got a 175/70r12 so might get one more and widen the rears up 2 inches and just leave the fronts standard with 155/80r12 as they will be close in diameter. Will go in and see the guys at white wall tyres too - i think a 1-1.5inch white wall on them.

Ive got the sunny to finish atm and then a 330 260c sedan to do rust in and get that gone too - then will start work on this. ill try wash it tomorrow and get some more pics.

German built fella. Theres only one old guy in chch I know has any Early kadett's, He has Kadett B Rallye, havent heard from him in awhile, might be sick/on holiday from the cold though..

Interesting this is Double A-arm front, the Ha viva's had transverse front leaves

Damn it just had a look - funny little set up - transverse leaf but still double a arm to control everything - weird.

"jus flip da leaves cuz"

Its pretty low anyway so will probably just run it standy with new shocks etc - sick of driving the y in chch - too stiff.

Will try update all the other pimp rides i've collected soon. Datsuns are getting expensive so i thought id give zee Germans cars a go.

+1 for keeping it standard looking...with a coil out or two.

What a cool wagon. Will be sooooo cheap to run and use as a daily.

Photos of ya dads old 12A HA please. I have a friend up here who has just built one and it's about to go for cert soon. Cool conversion.

Cool wee viva race car. I had a rx7 in England with twin SU carbs like that. The setup was built by hurley rotary and was much better economy. Not that I ever found out as the engine died 30 miles after buying the car....only paid 300 bucks anyway.

Dude, wagon is awesome.

Also, these pics of your old man's race car rule my face... All those shots are from Hawkes bay right? I see Pukeora Rd, Te Onepu, Onekawa St Sprints, HBCC autocross track, Thunderpark - whole lot of sweetness!

Would guess that my car (and probably a sprog version of me) were at those same events.

Heres dads viva - pretty modifies for the early ninety's - ive gotta get more info on this thing but i know it was 12a and had some kind of double shock setup in the back and still transverse leaf in front.
