Evan
LH 8871-59-760 RH 8871-58-760 the foxed.ca site has rx3 parts catalogues, you might as well grab some numbers from them and try those first you never know.... otherwise use those numbers. The parts numbers for the RX-3 stuff are no longer valid. Tried them a while ago with no joy, but will try my luck with the RX-7 ones. Thanks a heap for posting the numbers up! Cullen
what did that pile of rubbers cost? (if you don't mind me asking)
kiwi808
Awesome new engine set up. What are your plans for it?

Evan
Awesome new engine set up. What are your plans for it? Will pull it apart to check everything/replace waterseals. Will be converted over to S5 single turbo. I was trying to avoid force fed engines buuuut fail haha. Should work out ok. Excellent engine choice. Lots of polishing to do! Na I'll be painting it all black haha, not a fan of the polished look.
Archetype
It looks like you've been making pretty good progress in the last few months. What's putting you off from finishing it (I saw your comment in spam thread)?
Evan
I can understand why you don't want it to end up like mine. Maybe keep it a bit simpler than what you're planning for it? Your 13B turbo and FC subframe isn't going to be cheap or easy. Its cheaper and easier than you probably realise. Ive crunched numbers and weighed options and its roughly the same cost as keeping it with the original subframe (rebuilding that) and a front mounted 12a.whats putting me off is its becoming a bit of a pain, that and $$.Im on the fence at the moment. sr1600
Good choice of powerplant you can always swap back to a na motor but who wants to go slower I like where this car is going should be an oldschool trackday weapon Hell if you decide you dont like it ill swap you my whole NA setup
kiwi808
I like the 13b turbs plan best. You can easily get big horsey numbers with the right computer/intake setup/exhaust combo but still make it nice to drive. How much work is involved on the subframe swap and are you going to be doing all the work yourself?
SHGWAG
JC Cosmo = Best block for forced induction applications. Massive intake ports factory. Slap on a S5 Turbo. Aftermarket computer. 200kw + at the wheels and you won't be stressing the engine. If you need any engine parts, hit up Fairview Motors on Te Rapa Straight, I got quite a few bits from there, my contact left but last time I went in a guy called Bevan? hooked me up with a pretty hefty discount (IIRC it was better than trade).
