  1. Wonder the mounting points are the same as fd3s front cover , they state they dont fit but maybe its the engine bay space.
  2. yeah still have the 2 put a willy green injected pp in it last year , Waiting for Brad to finish this thing so i can chop him. In all serious have a 808 wagon now as well
  3. What the beast this thing will be , Which side mount alternator bracket di you go with to fit the fd3s style cover?
  4. Hey Mate , any chance you know the model of the itg filter? internal size? Gotta find one to fit over my injection kit.

    Gilmer Drive

From my experience , the rotary ones are overdone and kill alternators due to it. Used to pull the old motor to 10k that would have the alternator doing in excess of 13k rpm / Water pump doing over 8k rpm. When you look at sizing versus the standard pulleys can see how overcooked they are , New underdriven pulleys are v belt and will see alternator under 8k / WP maybe 5k prm at full noise. Was cool for crusing around and nothing like that noise....Maybe trade again one day if i can find one of the old prototype 20mm sets.
  6. It looks like a nice unit , Interested to see where you are mounting it in the car. Probably better to go the other way it mine and split the power closer to the front of the car i think with a fuse at the back etc , havent done anything to this level before so watching closely.
  7. Nice work , watching intently as have to undertake the same on one of my cars. (Because no one likes 50 year old wiring) Power distribution block looks like a nice bit of kit , where did you source?
  8. Nice work there mate , Looks really good. Where do you hide all the extra toyota parts..... (found a shaft for a gearbox buried in the lawn when digging my retaining wall posts on the weekend , graveyard backfill)

    Diffs

I’d have to ask the man that owns them , haven’t seen him around here.

    Diffs

Can you see those 3x pictures? From another rotor deviant........
  11. Was planning on sleeving and excessive spot welding, that way i get around a whole section of shaft being heat affected. have a set made when they fail
  12. Yip Lukes one , we went to tech together a few years ago. converted to r200 but its bloody massive.........slowly edging closer every week
  13. Nice car , funny how you can never have just one old car Interested in the R180 conversion is it the same mounting points on the front of the diff? moustache bar? Mine has r200 mounted / comanion flanges changed / CVs etc , I just havent done the axles yet...............have been considering going smaller nugget actually Going to get creative with the welder and see how the axles go anyway
  14. Bloody nice job Did you end up pressure testing that tank for leaks?
  15. Hooks up alright, Did you run it on the lingslongs you normally rock?
