What's your sleeping plan if it rains, @Chris.QCR?

My Hammock tent has a fly that goes over the top. Have used it in some decent Mainland rain so should be sweet.

Just gonna throw it out there, the Bach is not a small lawn. Had plenty of room and will be where the main socialising happens on the whole trip - being Saturday night.

If you stay at the holiday park it’s actually a solid ride over a small mountain. Not long, maybe 15 minutes. But definitely not a ride for more than a couple of beers deep.

Also @Shakotom don’t be a bisshhh and come sleep outside with the cool kids.

Edit: Te Araroa holiday park is over the hill. According to google there is some kind of place closer by. Hicks bay motel and lodge.

Paid.

One of my friends is really keen to join in as well. He's looking at a small bike as we speak (usually rides a 750) and is super keen to get a ~100cc machine just for the east cape ride :D .

It's only a sausage fest because most girls don't find it appealing. I'm sure it'll be fine to bring her along.

My partner was going to come along, but we've decided that her FZ50 might struggle!

How many seats does your car have? Think I read it was a ute. Just wondering where @MopedNZ will sit when he breaks his collarbone again.

There is a track from the lodge on the hill to the beach below the bach for those who want a comfy bed but dont mind a stagger back up the track to it

As long as you think your partner will be comfortable around some smelly dorks having fun, by all means please bring her. Might not be a bad idea having at least one sensible person on the trip, and it is a really nice drive, be rude not to bring her
