Nice!!  I bet you are stoked with it.  is it worth it to get a mold off it while its all complete?

Yep really stoked.  I did think about the mold idea but i don't think it would be worth it. Making a mold would be a massive job, the way Dennis did it is quite a simple way of getting a complicated shape quickly and easily where a molded body is another couple of large processes to go through.

awesome looking car, well done! Also vids.

It may be obvious, but what is the black thing sticking up to the left of the steering wheel?

Thanks man. The black thing is a rear view mirror mount, just need to find a nice mirror for it.

Would you be keen on a shoot and a story about Denis, the car, you and it's restoration for my NZ Autocar classics yarns that I spin? It's throughly interesting.

Yep that sounds good,  Dennis is a very interesting person and would be great to have an article published on him and the car.

Crank seals / leaky crank case issues can be hard to diagnose too. Apparently it can make an engine appear to be running rich (and sound like it's 4 stroking), when actually it's leaning out.

2 strokes can definitely be challenging little things! But we definitely need to see more of them out there :D .
