sentra
edit: started modifying post to meet grinderfest entry requirements we decided to build one of these steven had seen on you tube so we did some braining as it turned out after we started it he found out the one he saw was a 4 stroke, and this one was running on hope and luck. "before pics" but you all know what a bike looks like also some more random bikes came and went over the few weeks but they wernt noteworthy we made some stuff we needed and cut the heads off, did some things, banged them togther.carbutttor rotating plates, exhaust stand offs, head sandwhich plate, crush tubes & jillyz adaptors with timing slots, plug shims, blh blah one of the carburttors butterflys was naffed as you can see, so we made a fixture to hold a su rv8 butterfly and cut a new one out of the middle. everything machined away leaving the 2 locating nubs, worked supisingly well. motor assembeled & tdc's timed. showing exhaust standoffs going into compression fittings, worked really well, you can see the start of mk1 throttle setup (throttle was the hardest thing in the build) also you can see we orginally used bike gears, (and direct drive) that all exploded on first startup. later on you can see its been replaced with heaps heavyer stuff and a centrifugal clutch. needed a bike to put it in, steven making a start hotglue and macaroni firing it up with drillstarter mark1, this sent us all home early with sore wrists. 1QtWr86iwDQ safety officers final inspection & signoff straight to taupo care of honest sam upsetting old man kk tara/chickity took some photos with far more talent than me and posted them on facebook http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10150312941493633.362155.568168632&type=1 which il try ask her nicely for to post in this thread for your babys baby to look back at and go damn in 2011 i rmeber when steven and dave built that motor that took over the world with its reliability, smooth quiet power, easy starting and saftey features edit-taras pics now we just need a hundred word writeup jeeeeezus edit, hot off the press, steven has it completed and spellchecked, now we can send it in. "why you built it;FOR BURNOUTSwhat was your inspiration;LION RED AND WUTANG how you’d like to use it;BURNOUTS and if you’d do it again. OH FO SHOTHANK ME LATER" peace
