keltik
Dumped another litre of oil in. So thats fixed. Got my cert and wof and rego. Too legit. Still researching feasibility of 3.6 swap. Not looking good without doing a lot of fucking about with engine mounts.
SHGWAG
No replacement for displacement.... Except rotary turbo... 3.6 + turbo would be sweet.
HighLUX
Just sit it on the xmember and ratchet strap it in place whats the worst that could happen
SHGWAG
Engine rotates and car stays stationary?

keltik
Had a gawk at a 3.6 Tribeca today and it seems they use the same engine mount configuration as the Legacy 3.6....so thats a no-go. Plan B is find a way to make a 3.0 more entertaining.

Vintage Grumble
I've been pouring over half liter of oil into my car each week for the last 2.5 years, I dunno what you're worried about And so on.

Vintage Grumble
Haha, I think toyota copied Mitsy's ring design for the 20V 4ages tbh. Also, I measured how much oil I had to put in, in the latest top up, was 2L after 2 weeks/1000km, so I think i'm winning at oil useage.

Except, when I fixed the oil leaks, this value halved. But I agree with the others, 3.6 + High compression + ITBS = DOOOOORRRRTT
keltik
But I agree with the others, 3.6 + High compression + ITBS = DOOOOORRRRTT Fuck pay attention Mike! 3.6 cant happen...but i wouldnt rule out a cammed up 3.0 on ITB's with some decent headers. Problem is the variable valve lift gear makes fitting bigger springs just about impossible. Dont know how much more agressive you could get with the lift either. I honestly dont know where the flow restriction is on the non turbo 3.0. I know a bigger throttle body is recommended but have never seen much info on the heads flow. MRWEST
fitting bigger springs is def possible./......brenton did them in his EZ30R big fuk off holset turbo spec engine.

Spencer
^ no way VVT rules, surely you can do springs.
