Goat
So so choice. Does track gear work? Suppose you'l find out when you get a motor in it. Can you fit any gearbox and just feed it to the diff? This is way cool.

Valiant
Yeah the tracks are free, we towed it onto a trailer with a Foden truck when I picked it up. And rolled it down the ramps at home. On a flat surface I can push it my self. Yep fit a motor and box and feed it to the diff assembly. The diff has a transmission with 3 forward 1 reverse. I don't think orignally they had a gearbox behind the motor just a clutch housing and short drive shaft to the transaxle. CaMpylobacter, Cool idea. Part of the deal with this was an original Oliver motor. It's in a Header at the moment, I'm going to get it next weekend. I'll take a camera the place it's in is quite something. Valiant
I think a 4 cyl Detroit is bigger than my whole dozer. Try an International HD5. Edit: Fuck I do like Graders!

Valiant
Awesome Bart. Thanks. This came into my possession yesterday. A mighty A 15 from a vanette. A quick look/measure and I think it will fit nicely between the chassis rails.
