Rookie
Seeings as the cats out of the bag now, I can put this up. So I started with a bunch of tube. Got Thriller to cut it Straight and True: Then we laid it out on the floor, used the "One eye and Thumb" trueness test and fired up the welder. More welding resulted in this. At that point we ran out of tube, so I got some more and finished the frame. Then we mocked everything up and liked what we saw. Welded up the engine and 'box mounts. Made the clutch. And then Took it stropping. We then decided to blow minds, so we pulled it apart and painted it. And back together. And for those of you who missed it at the drome due to the broken belt, here are some videos. 3l97tKSVFEE vNWbEAayel0

Vintage Grumble
Thats a lovely wee bike! Are you not able to use motorcycle boxes? I put mine back together last night to use on a velo bike
xsspeed
motorcycle gearbox = disqualified? / m.bagderz winning races in the protest room since agesago. a rebelious dennis conner will enter a "four wheeled velo bike"
Truenotch
Hah. That gearbox may as well be home built though... Doesn't change gears fast and is no easier to operate than others. This thing is great by the way - part of the new generation of velo.

Steelies
i think transmissions should be unlimited for Ag class, the let peer pressure and high expectations sort it out haha such a choice bike. simple, effective, and straight to the point. checking this thing out in the dark made for so many surprises! the abominables definitely won the gang entrance prize too. i know practicality plays a part, but i'm registering a vote for some type of steezy narrow/flipped/drop/Z bars please. Seedy Al
I see no problem with using motor cycle gear box you tell me the difference between that box there and a shitty albion nothing they are all shit.
Truenotch
Ag class Does this mean we have other classes? . Ag Class Weed class (50cc or smaller) Monotube Scooter class ?
Simon
MC box is legit as long as it's not a complete engine and box that is powering the thing. Stick to stationary motor power plant and you can do anything you want.
xsspeed
so no outboard motors?
KKtrips
Hell yeah - especially if you flood the 'drome to the brim prior to event..

Vintage Grumble
Fuck yeh albion! Maybe we should have a thread for drome rules? And maybe the current leader/best lap time at each track?
alfalfa
Well I'm winning everything right now so you may as well just put AGMC right up where we belong, at the tippy top.

DodgySam
Classes are as follows. Scooter class...obvious really. Anything that is or was a scooter/intended to be a vehicle of any sort. Ag class...Anything that wasnt meant to be a vehicle of ANY sort. Ag class is also divided up into the following. sub 50cc. 51cc - 200cc 201cc+ Makes it fair for the small engine crew like Manu. And means Im not in the same class as the Sachs.
