My name is Russell
Good shit bro, quick build too! What was the injector duty cycle? I got some 510cc ones here. Gaz Not sure, would be to late now wouldn't it require a re tune? 440's at mo seem to the job. Will worry about it the day i get to full throttle and wont more power. Already scary enough in the wet. yoeddynz
cool. Dynos are scary first time ya give the car loads with just straps holding it there. I like watching the tyre size grow on the rollers. I too know bugger all about turbo's but reading your thread has taught me more. Good work and congrats! My name is Russell
Yeah at the dyno i was just bombarded with Jargon i couldn't understand. I was fully expecting something drymatic to go wrong. I think they attached the dyno to the hubs rather than roling road. They must of given it an absolute thrashing because all sorts of bolts have rattled loose, so need to do a full spanner check. My name is Russell
Anyone familiar with this site http://www.hispecbrake.co.uk/ Seems like there is some sweet deals to be had!
Unclejake
^ They supplied my calipers but were almost impossible to deal with. If you do want to buy from them then I recommend phoning them and telling them clearly that you will not be paying VAT as the goods are for export. Email was a waste of time for me. My name is Russell
^ Oh ok, hopefully they don't charge VAT on the disks Aidan just ordered for me. :S Might grab some lighter callipers n bits of them later on.

kyteler
Awesome man, congrats. Must have been so satisfying driving it around in slight anger. You scare yourself any?
My name is Russell
You scare yourself any? Oh shit yeah haha lots! The roads are for trucks and there is a truck load (te te) of oil on the road that makes it bad enough in the dry. eke_zetec_RWD went home after his second run as it was absolutely bucketing down and he spun out quite badly in a straight line for no apparent reason, he was going bloody fast and would have set a really good time! shame the weather wasn't better. Was not used to driving in the wet/having power, and took me two laps to work out i was holding gears for to long, which was just causing wild high speed side way ness. EURON8
So whats the deal with paint? Is there talk of this already somewhere? Did you need to order special blend or is it a clear coat? Liking the Satin finish.

You can add it to the clear coat but not really any point seals without it apparintly.
