artyone
Funnily enough I found that yesterday myself but I'd been looking for pictures of 1948 Austin chassis... and that build had the best!

artyone
Good Golly, that fellow is stupendously prolific! And I absolutely love the almost shabbiness of his fabrication like a rebuttal of all the keen edged 3D blitzed designer Slack that so is the tedious pursuit of the fat wallets... the marks of files and hammers and the sand cast blemishes... so beautiful!

flyingbrick
I slept next to a billet aluminium diff last night. Built to take 4000 hp. From my sleeping spot I could see a single weld rim machined from a single lump of billet aluminium that started out as a 16 inch cube of material. Its holding to become part of the worlds fastest road legal car... Not much of a project thread right now but I'll keep posting updates in here as shut arrives

Popular Post yoeddynz
This thread here has captivated me. The lengths that this fella is going to rebuild an old rusty Rx2 4 door and do all the panel pressings himself. I know this car and have been in it as it belonged to a good friend so for me its fucking awesome to see it getting rebuilt. The guy who has bought it and restoring it is a gifted engineer with some awesome tools/machines at his disposal. But then he goes the next step and makes his own machines like a fucking awesome bead roller. http://retrorides.proboards.com/thread/178941/mazda-complete-japanese-tinworm-infestation?page=1 10

10Speed
A friend bought an old Delica in Auckland, did a fit out and shipped it to Canada. flyingbrick
http://www.mig-welding.co.uk/forum/threads/60s-style-gasser-willys-build.40254/ I enjoyed this. What a nice glass body! IV worked on one build here in nz that would have saved thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours of labour with a quality moulding like that.
