  1. yeah go with the kent cam 234 it about the best cam for street use the next size in the kent range is the 244 cunt to drive in traffic and will need cut outs in the pistons And whats a 1/2 race cam???kinda of a pet hate like someone saying they have a "fully" worked engine!!
  2. This bike shit's a little tricky. Its a bit high in the rear but at least the wheel isnt hitting the hoop

  4. Also working on this 90's TQ As its fitted with a CB900 i cant race it anywhere and the engine to have in the 90's was the gsx750 (i Want to use it for vintage and classic speedway days) And these came in the post very close fit so new manifold to be fabed
  5. A little more tonight ive gone with the momo shock has 3 damping settings not sure if ill need it really but momo it is.

Havnt been spending bugger time in the shed lately and picked this kz440 yesterday for $100 as a parts bike after getting home and googled what i just brought i seen that they make for a nice cafe racer and with having gsx750 parts bike also i started just pulling shit of and changing parts over most parts from both bike seem to bolt up nicely that wheel looked out of place now changed to gsx swing arm and work out to be tha same wheel base as the gsx750 not sure if to keep the classic look or change to mono shock from gsx

Why not? dump all that "clusterfuck" and make it real simple engine ,superchager,turbo ecu .all these pipes, valves and shit is for a factory road car. i see your point just antilag and be done with it. But what i really wanted to know was with all this talk on pro's , con's and who's has what car doing whatever ! Was to put it in a real world concept I have said engine. Want to do this to it. this much boost. for very little money i know little money is different for some and for this idea said $2500 and fab all that need yourself

For a start sorry for bring up old post(google brought me here) Ive loved the idea of the compound charged set up after see this After half pie reading this thread the Lancia set up looks the easiest. Anyone able to put togetter a turbo , superchager and ecu (megasquirt? or something user friendly)combo for the following? engine ej20 20-25 psi max next to no lag or the use of a anti lag keep in mind this is on a low budget (pickapart or trademe finds) with $$ spent on ecu to run it all Just curious.Thanks

  13. I had a look in my book and cant find 1300sport box but i guess it will the same as fitted to a 1300gt (1300 sport was fitted with gt engine and was the poor man's gt) This may be of help

  16. what i did for the crank was i made a slave with ID undersize to the OD of the stabs left on crank #1 and #2 heated slave to cherry red on a camp cooker and sliped it over crank #1 than crank #2 was machined to a siding fit to slave ,Rod journals set at 180 using Vee block ,dril and taped 2 cap srews {abit rudimentary but it spins ture}

Heres some that ive wanted build for sometime (3 ,4 or even 6 cyl) engine but it was hard just finding 2 exactly the same just to start Im building it in a way so i can keep bolting more cylinders on as i find them here are some pictures there a spigot to locate the two engines tho i still have to make the bolting plate #1 crank with the center bearing (just noticed it on back to front) And as you can see this is the cover Also im looking for two (will need more later) side draft type carbs from a villiers or similar like this

Not much forward progress sadly works been very taxing over the last few months, as neat as having a wooden chassis would be i was thinking if i had a big crash being stabed with a piece of timber wouldnt be ideal,So i pull it apart and made a new oval tube chassis also changed the bonnet/hood so it removable and steel bulkhead
  20. Not to put you wrong i do my fair share production weld also This is how i spend 10 hour's a day welding these . I get paid trade men's wages when im not so lifes not to bad

Steering wheel didnt take to long and gave me some more time to start on the nose cone yeah? nah? on hood ornament i got at a garage sale on the weekend have your say mite have a clean up tomorrow night also found at same garage sale this one half of a wisconsin V4 engine i always wanted to build a engine using 2 or3 B&S engine bolted togetter but now thinking this would be way cooler, 2 cyl air cooled sidevalve engine powered C/K (what engine have 4 1/2 in piston centers?)
