sluggy
Drove it to Russell a couple of days ago, not that it really matters, but 13.75l per 100kms. Im pretty happy with that number... zero break downs or issues. Big Tick from me !

sluggy
It felt like an adventure, its been a long time since I have done miles in an old car and I really loved it. Bench seat cornering, no anti roll bars, no grab handles, the fear of a door springing open at every turn..... god I have missed you all. 1
KP_wag
Clean motor even when it was still on the pallet! Many (any) miles on it? What fancy stuff did you need to do to make the 6L80e work?

What fancy stuff did you need to do to make the 6L80e work? 4000ks on it over the last 4 months. Box just works. I have been mucking around with shift speeds and getting rid of low speed torque converter lock up, gm do this to save gas but makes it feel sluggish at low speed. Still needs a bit of tooling round. dmulally
Lovely ute. I have a 66 C20 that I'm getting close to finishing off but I keep having drama after drama with the gearbox. Where did you get your rear deck cover from? I need one for mine and was going to have the tie down straps one but yours looks so much cleaner.
