Popular Post ajg193 Posted July 10, 2022 Popular Post Posted July 10, 2022 Been making this valve cover racer for the annual MG club competition. I don't actually have an MG, nor am I a member of the club... Still have a few mechanical and style bits to do on it, but it rolls now. The MG plate on it is machined from some magnesium alloy that I cast and extruded a while back. Other bits from that same batch ended up holding pig skulls together for medical experiments. 23 1 Quote
Popular Post a.craw4d Posted July 13, 2022 Popular Post Posted July 13, 2022 The above exhaust when viewed from the drivers seat. That closest pipe was going to be a bit of a leg burner so have shortened it a little. And the super trap style muffler going on the end of it. 150mm rule for scale. 15 Quote

Popular Post tintin Posted July 16, 2022 Popular Post Posted July 16, 2022 Saturday’s project was to make a table top for this old table base I picked up from the dump and fixed up a while back and has just been sitting in the corner of the shed, this was made by cutting down old 2x4 from the old renovated Te Aroha West Hall. Just about everything I have been making is from the old native timber from the hall, and I hope you guys are enjoying these little projects as I do them as much as I am. Thanks for looking. 26 Quote

Looks better than his actual house. Haha I did the same during the first lockdown, matai weatherboards, cedar skirting for bargeboards and left over coloursteel from the house. Fucker never used it and would sit in the rain so I knocked it apart and took it to the tip. 3 1 Quote
Popular Post a.craw4d Posted July 31, 2022 Popular Post Posted July 31, 2022 The above bike just got tuned on the dyno on Friday. Stock pipe, 116hp. My pipe, 153hp. The power curve was constant up to about 245kph. Was not expecting that much increase. 24 Quote
tortron Posted August 4, 2022 Posted August 4, 2022 Cleared some more rubbish out Stainless sink/bench I didn't use in the house, couple of charcoal grills Plus the last of my "character" timber from the scrap pile Quote
tortron Posted August 4, 2022 Posted August 4, 2022 Day1 of rubbish assembly I wanted to keep the sink, but I didn't like the bbq on either side of it, because it would have no work surface. I have hot and cold water on the outside of my tiny house and would be good to use it here. So the sink may find it's way onto hanging off the side or something Will see what comes up, but I would like to paint the frame black and close it in with some stained wood to trim it off. Itl get some shelves and storage depending on how much I can get out of my scraps. 7 Quote
Popular Post tintin Posted August 4, 2022 Popular Post Posted August 4, 2022 Made a little coffee table tray to put stuff in. I think the wood is Rimu and flattened some old copper pipe to cover the screws 10 Quote
