Beach would be pretty choice for it. Would be the flashest guy down there yeah?

Diff is open, can't be bothered opening a gearbox/removing from cart just yet. But maybe eventually. (free spare gearbox please?)

So yeah, drove it again today and had some more failures as shown by VG's film. (Watch me break my neck just after the 1min mark)

Haven't pulled anything to bits yet (its welded on one end, bolted the other...) but steering shaft has become broken inside steering column thing. Resulting basically a total loss of steering.

Dem angles, doze welds.

Here are the bits of steel I loosely attached to try and keep things square after the first jump and the strut mounts moved up on a big angle and began to shear off. The large box bits are only welded onto the frame at the top corners, so was inevitable...

A shot of the feet/steering arrangement.

Corolla lower front arm

Extended, and pointing 90degrees to the outside.

You'll also see an arm going to the hub/knuckle and forwards to a pin/bush welded to the strut.

On the LH side this has broken off because it causes things to bind/fight each other I think.

Going to leave it broken and compare to RH side

This little guy just waves around and says Hi

But yeah, one front shock has been sad from the word go, visually the shaft is offset and it pumped a fountain of milkshake oil out on the first drive.

But its attachment to the front knuckle is a bit loose looking also.

Can anyone help identify the front knuckles? Quad bike maybe?

And after breaking the steering for the day, one of the shock inserts started to come out to say hi.

This will be the death of me.

I am unsure about what it will do, with a lot of weight and grip in the back it has a tendency to get light in the front and understeer.

It can't make it handle any worse? At least going sideways into things will be more fun than understeering into things.
