yetchh
Looks like it could all be over in the next few years anyways, Fords out and the rumours are Holdens looking sketchy too..
CaMpylobacter
^ they're stopping the construction of commodores next year so it would seem the writing's on the wall, unless they're to change the rules and let a smaller holden offering (barina feeate? lel) in. I'm going to the commy factory next month so I'll get them to stamp out a couple hundred new VKs to keep things going.
V8Pete
Will they not just badge Opel Insignias/Daewoo Malibus as Commodores and business as usual?
japawagons
I doubt they will let the most successful current Touring car series fall to the floor because manufacturing is stopping in Australia...

cletus
tis only a rule change away. or, as p8vete said, chuck any old body on. Im sure thats why they went to the current chassis anyway, they would have known years ago that falcons and commodes were on the way out

vivaspeed
The end of the generic Falcodore won't be the end of the world for Bathurst. Look at the history of the event, everything from Minis and Cortinas, through muscle cars, through Euro and Japanese turbos, to the current batch of taxis. Bring back the Sierras and Skylines!
Truenotch
Right now is the best it's ever been and they have a multitude of plans in place to make sure it stays successful.
