Or are you going to sand blast it all the way down and paint it properly? ^What? It's taken decades to get patina as sweet as that, looks ideal as-is in my opinion. I helped my neighbour bring his new Ransomes crawled and implements home today. The crawler is MINT and runs like a clock. I spent a good part of the afternoon taking my kids for rides up the drive, road verge, and foot path.
