governorsam
http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-accessories/nissan/engines/auction-480024887.htm any help?
mutiny
Definitely an L23. Fuck I want that cam cover if you decide to biff that motor. haha what for?
kyteler
The older cam cover is way cooler. It's not compatible with the modern head so I can't use it (otherwise I would). I'd just polish it up and have it sitting somewhere, I prefer the font and the older look to them.

CUL8R
Mean nice shot, yes its definitely L23, I checked the stamp on the block.. I'd just be picking up a decent L Series, and painting over the stamping... I'll txt Aaron again and hit him up..

mutiny
yeah ive had a few b1600s with drum brake fronts, have converted them in the past and made the world of difference, when you gonna throw some build threads up dude, had to be a forum member to see that link you sent me the other day

brocky41
This thing is so sweet - i wanted that cedric in hawkes bay thats been on TM lately but been told its a bit rough. So cool you want to keep it original as possible - that steering wheel is pretty pimp. Let me know if you want to try some of those disk brake front parts from the 260c
mutiny
yeah will let you know, was that l26 mechanical or electrical fuel pump?
kyteler
Looks like it was electric. It's got the extra pulley on there for the P/S, which generally takes up the space normally used for where the mechanical fuel pump would attach to the head. mutiny
anyone got a mechanical one for sale?
kyteler
Whip the cam cover off and see whether the lobe for the mechanical pump is there at all. If it's not there it might well be easier to wire in a little electric pump, Ricardo had to replace the one on my old car on his voyage, I believe KK helped him with this so it might be worth asking which one he ended up getting. Snoozin
I just have a little "Fuelflo" low pressure electric pump that works fine on my L26. KK sorted it for me while I was en route from the South Island to home, he scored it from Repco I think.
mutiny
There's a 280 electric fuel pump on trade me, they ran a l28 or something didn't they, surely that electric fuel pump would do the job
DJZ
Nah, it's high pressure for EFI. You might be able to use it if you have a regulator.
