kicker
Finally made a start on my proper drome racer. It's gonna be boardtrack style (again ) but based on bmx's/20" wheels with a Villiers from an Atco reel mower 97cc two smoke Frame design, needed to work out the angles and if everything will fit. I want to use the Atco tank in between the rails but need to accomodate the filler and the tap underneath, it'll be tight but hopefully will fit. Currently at Noice tyres to go on it Plans for drive train is to run a belt from the crank to a jackshaft, the clutch will be a lever tensioning this belt, then another belt from the jackshaft to a second 20" rim mounted to the rear wheel. Hoping for a reduction of around 11:1 which these motors seem to prefer. Need to go buy some steel now

lou
That is awesome. I especially like the lack of brakes. Please keep it this way.
Steelies
sorry dude my next build is set to look similar, with similar donk even. may be some good velo-duelling ahead! wont have such a sweet tank though..
kicker
Cheers for the comments guys For brakes I'll probably use the existing coaster brake, here's an mspaint diagram but that may not work depending on how the rear wheel is driven, alternate solution is to use the above idea but adapt it and use a coaster brake on the front wheel and have the chain running to a handle bar lever All good Manu, we need more poo-strokes stinking up the track For KK

BlownCorona
sweet work! this could be of interest to you hard to see, but its a rear coaster brake on the front of a bike, small bit of chain wrapped around the sproket and attacted tight to the frame, on the other end attacted to a brake cable and on to a lever.
